Bearonauta is a small business based in Melbourne, Australia. This policy explains how we handle information when you browse our store, contact us or place an order. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

Information we use

Orders involve your name, email, delivery address, chosen products, payment status, order reference and delivery tracking. If you contact us, we also receive the information and attachments you send. Hosting and payment providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser, device and security logs.

Payments

Stripe collects payment information through its secure checkout form. Our order database does not store full card numbers or card security codes. We receive the information needed to confirm payment and fulfil your order.

Why we need it

We use information to take payment, make and send orders, provide confirmations and tracking, answer questions, resolve product problems, protect the store and keep necessary business records. We do not sell customer information or add order email addresses to a marketing list.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting and order storage, Stripe for checkout, and Australia Post for delivery. Proton Mail processes the addresses and message content needed to deliver them. Our email and business-record providers may also handle information needed for support and administration.

These providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where they operate. Their services have their own privacy information: Cloudflare, Stripe, Proton and Australia Post.

Browser storage

The store saves product choices and quantities in your browser so your cart survives a refresh. It does not save your delivery address or card details in that cart storage. You can clear it through your browser settings. Stripe and Cloudflare may use cookies or similar technology for checkout and security. We have not added advertising trackers to this store.

Keeping information safe

Order information is restricted to people and services that need it. We keep records for order fulfilment, support and applicable record-keeping obligations, then delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed. No online service can promise absolute security.

Access, corrections & questions

Email us to ask what information we hold, request a correction or raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity before sharing or changing order information. We will review your request and explain any records we need to retain. Changes to this policy will be published here.
